He passed away peacefully on October 11th, 2017 with his family by his side, after a long illness. Jim, who lived a long, full life, was always helping people and involved in many organizations. He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard and an Inspector at the Registry of Motor Vehicles. He was Commodore of the Town River Yacht Club, a member of The Sons of Italy, the Elks, the Sea Coast Shores, and the Disabled Veterans. He travelled between Quincy and Florida. Jim could always make his family laugh and will be especially missed for all his funny pranks. He loved to play with the grandchildren and make them laugh; and had a special bond with the family pets. He will be missed by all and never forgotten.
