Obituaries

Jean B. (Conrad) McDonald of Quincy passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at age 89. A lifelong Quincy resident, she was educated in Quincy schools and was a retired banker for the South Shore National Bank. The beloved wife of the late Lt. John S. McDonald, QFD, Jean was the loving mother Maureen Bisaga and her husband Edward, Michael J. Scanlon and his wife Frances, Kevin Scanlon and his wife Deborah and John Scanlon and his wife Deborah; sister of the late Marie Glencross; and is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Wednesday, February 24 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Thursday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Church 44 School St. Quincy. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
