Obituaries

John E. Reardon of Deerfield Beach, FL and Quincy passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at age 76. Born in Staten Island, NY, he was a Navy veteran and worked as an electrician for the MBTA for 25 years. He was a proud member of the IBEW Local 103 for the past 55 years, the Elks, Adams Heights Men’s Club and the American Legion. Even in Florida, John was a fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.

The beloved husband of Ann “Kris” (Parisou) Reardon, he was the loving father of Kelley and Bruce Corwin of Hingham, Kathleen and Dan Shea of Raynham and James Reardon of Weymouth; dear grandfather of Stacey, Matthew, Patrick, Erin and Jacob and is also survived by 4 stepchildren, Debra Dempsey of Weymouth, Michael Meigs of Weymouth, and Jeff and Dennis Meigs of NY and 8 step-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 15 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Saturday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. Joseph’s Church 550, Washington St. Quincy. Cremation will follow.
