John F. Anderson passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at the age of 63. Born in Quincy, he was raised and educated in Weymouth and has lived in Braintree for 34 years. A Veteran of the Vietnam War, US Air Force, John was an “AVID PATRIOT’S FAN” and worked a quality control inspector at Industrial Engineering of Foxboro for the past 20 years.
The beloved husband of Deborah A. (Nigro) Anderson, John was the loving father of Brian C. Anderson and his wife Ti of Quincy and Stacy E. Anderson of Braintree; dear brother of Ingrid Carpenter of Ohio and Dorothy Doyle of Brockton; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 4 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Wednesday there will be a service to celebrate John’s life in the funeral home beginning at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.
