John J. Picarski of Quincy passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at age 65. A Vietnam Veteran US Navy, John was a member of the Quincy High School Football Hall of Fame and lived most of his life in Hough’s Neck. He worked as an air conditioning tech for the Pipefitters Union Local 537 and enjoyed boating and water skiing, cruises to the Caribbean, the Bahamas and Europe, wintering in Marco Island and trips to Key West and Bar Harbor.

The beloved husband of Fay M. (Keefe) Picarski, John was the loving father of John J. Picarski, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Canton and Jessica L. Cannon and her husband Jason of Hough’s Neck; loving son of Stanley and Wanda (Dedecz) Picarski of Quincy; dear grandfather of Julia, Kristina, Nicole, Joshua and William; brother of Barbara Murphy of Westwood, Stanley Picarski, Jr., Paul Picarski, both of Quincy, Margaret Dunn of Hough’s Neck and the late Stephen Picarski.

There will be a Funeral Service at 10:00am on Saturday, March 3 at Holy Trinity Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1017 Sea St. Quincy. Family and friends are invited. Visiting hours are omitted.
