I too, loved Julia. I'm Kathy Dempsey-Zimmerman's sister Eileen Dempsey. I had the pleasure of dining at Allerton on a few occasions with Dad and Julia and Pop Walsh. She was a lovely and interesting woman. I live in Tupper Lake, NY and she said she had nice memories of camping in the Adirondacks years ago. It was a comfort to know she was keeping an eye on Dad. She will be greatly missed on my future visits to Allerton House. My condolences to her family. She lived a long and interesting life. Rest in Peace Julia and God Bless you.

As Julia’s neighbor at the Anchorage, we had many wonderful conversations. I enjoyed knowing her and take comfort in knowing that she is enjoying her heavenly reward. Dennis and Barbara, I hope that you are finding solace in memories of her.

I loved Julia. My father,Bill Dempsey, was one of her housemates at Allerton House Assisted Living in Weymouth. While visiting there I had so many wonderful conversations with Julua, many as we sat in rocking chairs outside in front of Allerton. Julia was so bright, so interesting, so caring. I loved hearing about her life in Charlestown. Her niece lives in Littleton where I live, close by where my daughter’s home is. We talked about that nice area, near the town lake. Julia always told me not to worry about my 93 year old dad, as she was watching out for him. I loved Julia who has now joined her beloved husband. My life has been enriched knowing her. Thank- you Julia. Kathy Dempsey Zimmerman
