Kathleen (Bennett) Ames of Phoenix, AZ passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 at age 63. Born in Quincy where she was raised and educated, she graduated from Quincy High and lived most of her life between the Cape and Quincy before moving to Arizona 29 years ago. The beloved daughter of the late Robert J and Barbara L. (Orsini) Bennett, Kathie was the loving wife of the late James Ames. She is deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her four children, Jim Nannis of NH, Kevin Nannis of CA, Michael Nannis of NH and Courtney Grimalauskso of AZ and her grandchildren Tori, Ashley, Andrew, Tyler and Abigail. Kathie was the beloved sister of Patricia Day of Sandwich and the late Robert Bennett.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 9:00AM to 12:00PM immediately followed by a Funeral Service at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
