Kenneth C. Walsh of Weymouth passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2010 at age 83. Born in Quincy where he was raised and educated, he left high school to serve in the Navy Seabees in WWII. Before retiring, he worked as a service technician for Dresser & Rand Co. and was a longtime member of the Weymouth Lodge of Elks, where he often enjoyed bowling and playing cards, shuffle board and pool.
The beloved husband of Mary C. (McNeill) Walsh, Ken was the loving father of Mary Katherine, Ann Louise, Kenneth C. II, Elizabeth, David J. and Amy Suzanne an dear grandfather of Daniel, Alan, Kenny, Axel, Caleb and Sadie.
Graveside Service Tuesday, October 5 at 1:45pm at Mount Wollaston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenneth’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02140-1102 800 272-3900 www.alzmass.org.
