Obituaries

Kenneth F. Carson of Quincy passed away at Quincy Medical Center on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at age 69. Born in Boston where he was raised and educated, he worked as a crane operator at General Dynamics until he retired and then worked for Green Cab in Somerville.

He was the loving father of Kenneth Carson, Jr. of E. Bridgewater, Brian Carson of Hingham, Paul Carson of Quincy, Christine Carson of Donegal, Ireland, Catherine Mc Garvey of Meriden, CT and the late Kevin M. Carson; dear grandfather of PJ, Ryan, Krystal, Amber, Zachary, Jemma and Daniel; beloved brother of Patsy Donovan and Ellen Coulsey, both of Brooks, ME, Donna Lynch of Melrose, Roy of Dorchester, Edward of Weymouth, Thomas of Bridgewater, Stephen of Boston and the late Richard and John Carson. Ken is also survived by his former wife, Jean Dalton of Quincy.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 1 from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Family and friends are invited. On Saturday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Parish, Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10:00am. Cremation will follow.
