Kevin E. Keane, Sr. of Quincy passed away at age 77 with his family at his side on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Originally from Dorchester, he lived in Quincy since 1966. A Vietnam Veteran, US Army, Kevin was the manager at the North Weymouth Post Office before retiring. The beloved husband of Mary H. (Sylva) Keane, he was the loving father of Julie-Ann Keane and her boyfriend Michael DiBennedetto of Quincy and the late Kevin E. Keane, Jr.; dear brother of Maureen Crowe of Quincy and the late John Keane of Brighton and James and Phyllis Keane of Milton; loving uncle of James Keane and his wife Cindy, James Crowe and Patrick Crowe; brother in-law of Donna and Paul Wilkie of Quincy, Meredith and James Power of VA, Robert Sylva of Bourne, Edward Sylva of Plymouth, Stephen Sylva of Bourne, John and Barbara Sylva of Raynham and the late Roberta Sylva and Charles Sylva; and is also survived by his dog Kayla.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Wednesday, August 1st from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Thursday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Church 115 Crescent St. W. Quincy. Cremation will follow.
