Lawrence J. “Larry” Salters, Jr., age 71, of Naples, FL and formerly of Centerville, MA passed away on October 10, 2009 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Born in Quincy, where he was raised and educated, he lived most of his life in Milton. Larry worked as a Vice President Real Estate Development for the Flatley Company for many years before retiring in 1992. He then went on to start his own business ventures.

The beloved husband of Cecelia M. (Colotti) Salters, Larry was the loving father of Lorraine Salters of Penn Yan, NY, Joseph Salters of Plymouth and Susan Whelan of Kingston; dear grandfather of Matthew Salters, Justin Whelan, Julie Salters and Olivia Whelan and brother of Barbara Thomas of Brockton and the late Richard Salters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Larry’s family will be gathering to celebrate his life at the Sheraton Tara in Braintree on Thursday, October 15 from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Family and friends are invited to drop by. A private Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
