Lawrence R. Robertson of Palm Harbor, FL, formerly of Quincy, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at age 73. He was a direct descendant of the Mayflower through his mother’s family. Larry lived in Quincy most of his life, spending his winters in Florida until he moved there after retiring. He served in the Navy and had worked as a HVAC mechanic for the South Shore Bank and Bank of Boston for 30 years.
The beloved father of Laurie Eisenhauer and Lawrence Robertson, both of Whitman, Lorna Robertson of Weymouth and Lon Robertson of Pembroke, he was the son of the late Richard R. and Olive (White) Robertson, the brother of Susan DeChristoforo of Marshfield, Dianne Engren of Bridgewater, Cheryle Romano of Braintree, Richard Robertson of Weymouth, Jeff Robertson of Quincy and the late Sharlene Ahern and Kim Robertson; and is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A Funeral Mass was held on February 6 at St. Joseph’s Church, Quincy. Burial was at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
