Lillian R. (McQuinn) Mullaney of Naples, FL, Yarmouth and Quincy passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at age 87. Born in Quincy where she was raised and educated, she spent winters in Florida and summers on the Cape. Lillian enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching, gardening and swimming; loved to cook for her family, play cards, shop for bargains and was a big Red Sox fan.

She shared her heart and home with the late Charlie Litchfield for over 30 years and was the loving mother of Linda M. Spargo of Pembroke, Stephen Moberg of Sarasota, FL and the late James Mullaney, Jr; beloved Noni to her 4 grandchildren, Susan Spargo of Easton, Erik Spargo and his wife Sandra of Plymouth, Stephen Moberg, Jr. and his wife Nicole of Plymouth and Scott Moberg of Plymouth; and to her great grandchildren, Madison, Mason and Jacob; dear sister of Howard McQuinn and his wife Mary and the late Francis McQuinn and Gerald Markhard. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Lorraine McQuinn and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Lillian’s Life on Saturday, June 16 at 11:00AM preceded by a visiting hour at 10:00AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited to attend.
