Loretta C. (Ventresca) Gallinaro of Quincy passed away surrounded by her family on June 25, 2018 at age 92. Originally from Watertown, she lived in Quincy for over 50 years. With her husband Freddie, Loretta owned and operated the Canterbury Clothing Company of Watertown, founded in 1970.

The beloved wife of the late Alfred A. “Freddie” Gallinaro, Loretta was the loving mother of Alfred A. Gallinaro, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Wrentham, Judith L. McManus and her husband Philip of Topsfield and Janice Weizel and her late husband Ward of Newton; and is also survived by her many dear grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Friday, June 29th from 9:00 to 10:30AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. A Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Church 550 Washington St. Quincy. Burial is at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown.
