M. Lois (Happeny) Ridge of Plymouth passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at age 73. Raised and educated in Quincy, she lived most of her married life in Braintree, wintering for many years in The Villages, FL, then retiring to Plymouth. A graduate of Emmanuel College, she started her career with Bell Telephone, remaining with the company though its changes to NYNEX and Verizon, retiring from an executive position. With her beloved husband Frank Ridge, she shared 49 years of marriage and many adventures around the world, including visits to every country in Europe.

Lois was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Eileen Happeny, the devoted sister to the late Barbara Happeny and Arnold and Suzanne Happeny. She is survived by her husband, Frank, cousins, and many cherished friends.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Tuesday, October 30 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Wednesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church 550 Washington St. Quincy. Burial at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne is at 12:45PM.
