Margaret E. Capiferri of Quincy passed away at the Tower Hill Center in Canton on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at age 85. A lifelong Quincy resident, Margaret was a graduate of Bridgewater Teacher’s College and taught 4th grade in Quincy’s Lincoln School for 35 years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling to Ireland and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Anne Capiferri, Margaret was the loving sister of Mary L. Capiferri and is also survived by her dear “nephew” Kevin McEvoy of Hyannis.
A visiting hour will be held at the Dennis Sweeney FuneralHome 74 Elm St. Quincy Center on Tuesday, February 16, starting at 9:00am. Family and friends are invited. A Funeral Mass will be follow at 10:00am at St. Ann’s Church, Wollaston. Burial is at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
