Margaret M. (O’Connell) Carlson of Quincy passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at age 94. A Quincy resident for the past 53 years, she was born and raised in Cambridge and worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at Youville Hospital. The beloved wife of the late William P. Carlson, Margaret was the loving mother of Margaret Scanlon of Quincy, Lin Burke of Weymouth and John Carlson and his wife Linda of Florida. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. Donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Germantown Neighborhood Center 366 Palmer St, Quincy, MA 02169.
