Margaret M. (Rothwell) Kelliher of West Quincy, 84, passed away quietly after a brief illness on October 24, 2010 at the Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth. Born in Boston, she lived most of her life in West Quincy. The loving wife of the late Joseph F. Kelliher, Margaret is survived by her daughters, Mary Small and her husband Michael of Naples, FL (formerly of Hanover) and Karen Salamone and her husband Charles of Rockland; her son Joseph Kelliher and his wife Mary Ellen of Quincy; her brother Rev. Joseph Rothwell of Marion Manor; her sister Mary Helen Jensen of Hopkinton; seven grandchildren, Kerri Anne Morrissey, Michelle Geissler, Jamie Small, Leah and Lori Salamone and Christine and Casey Kelliher and five great grandchildren, Patrick, Christian and Daniel Morrissey and Emma and Michael Geissler.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 27 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Thursday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, W. Quincy at 10:00am. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery.
