Marguerite I. (Pilalas) Zagrodny of Weymouth passed away at home on Monday June 7, 2010 at the age of 80. Born in Milton, she was raised in Quincy and graduated form Sacred Heart High School, Weymouth. A homemaker, she loved to cook and entertain and centered her life around her family.

The beloved wife of the late Albert S. Zagrodny, Marguerite was the loving mother of Michael F. Zagrodny and his wife Kathleen of Nashua, NH, William A. Zagrodny of Bridgewater, Frederick A. Zagrodny and his wife Rita of Kingston, Cynthia A. Bickford of Weymouth, Marguerite L. Connell of Randolph, Theodore Zagrodny and his wife Nancy of Quincy, Jeffrey J. Zagrodny of Quincy and Laurie Ann Jackman and her wife Jennifa of Haverhill. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 10 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Friday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 10:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30am at St. John the Baptist Church 44 School St. Quincy. Interment will follow at a later date.
