Marie C. Rossi of Weymouth passed away on Friday, April 7, 2016 at age 89. Born in Medford, she was raised and educated in Roxbury and lived in Quincy for 30 years. Before retiring, Marie worked as a secretary for Salomon Brothers. The daughter of the late Humbert and Theresa Rossi, she was the loving sister of the late George H. Rossi and is survived by her sister-in-law, Jeanette P. Rossi of Littleton, her niece, Claire Nisil and her husband James of Sharon, her nephews, Francis X. Rossi of Dorchester and Ted Rossi and his wife Rebecca of Franklin and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kathryn, Caroline, Andrea, Angela, Andrew, Evan and Sophia.

Family and friends are invited to a visiting hour which will be held on Wednesday, April 13 from 8:30 to 9:30AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Church 44 School St. Quincy. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery.
