Marilyn B. (Murphy) McKay of Quincy passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at age 83. A homemaker, she had worked at one time as a model and as a Congressional lobbyist and was the co-founder of the New England Home for Little Wanderers in Norwell. The beloved wife of William T. McKay, Marilyn was the loving mother of Deborah A. Davey of Sutton, Trace McKay and his wife Peggy of Wilmington, NC and the late Shawn F. McKay; dear grandmother of Michael J. Davey, Michelle N. Davey and Scott Mezzetti; great-grandmother of Michael L. Davey and his fiancée Kathryn Cain and Jesse Davey and her fiancé Tim Adams; great great-grandmother of Sophia Adams and Shawn Michael Davey.
Private services will be held on August 30.
