Marion J. (Nash) Pacetti of Quincy passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at age 78. Born in So. Boston where she was raised and educated, she lived in Hough’s Neck for 49 years. Before retiring in 1997, Marion worked as a clerical technician for the telephone company for 25 years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She volunteered for the Reading Round-up program at the Adams Shore Library and enjoyed bowling in several leagues including Most Blessed Sacrament Ladies Sodality and the So. Shore Bowlerettes. An avid Red Sox fan, she was happiest at family gatherings.

The beloved wife of Joseph E. Pacetti, Marion was the devoted mother of Richard A. Pacetti of Whitman, Stephen F. Pacetti, Michael J. Pacetti, Jo-Anne Pacetti and her husband John Scarcella, and Susan M. Pacetti, all of Quincy; loving Nana to Santina, Ricky and Stephanie; dear sister of Joan Nash of Harwich, Thomas Nash of Lowell and the late Frances and Ruth Nash; and is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 7 from 2:00 to 6:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church at 10:00am. Burial is at St. Mary Church, W. Quincy.
