Mark K. Cannell of Hull passed away unexpectedly on Christmas Day, December 25, 2019, at age 56. Born in Boston where he was raised and educated, he was the son of the late Peter and Margaret (Lawless) Cannell. Mark lived in Hull for many years and worked as a maintenance engineer for CBRE Property Management in Boston’s Seaport District. An incredibly hard worker, Mark was always willing to lend a helping hand. and was passionate about music and sports.

The loving husband of Cheryl A. (Goodrich) Cannell, he was the beloved father of Deborah Cannell of Quincy and Kelly Cannell of Hull; dear brother of Margaret Cannell of Norwood, Mary Perry and her husband Christopher of Quincy, William Cannell of Florida, Nicholas Cannell of Norwood, Elizabeth Sanford and her husband Michael of Walpole and the late Peter Cannell; son-in-law of Patricia Goodrich; and is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Saturday, January 4 from 1:00 to 3:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 3:00PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of Mark’s life will follow from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Old Dorchester Post 500 Gallivan Blvd. Dorchester. Parking is available.
