My deepest condolences to the Cannell and Goodrich family . I was Deeply saddened by the loss of Mark who I always referred to him as the “ Gentle Giant “ for he had such a large personality that would make one laugh with tears running down your face . This is such a great loss to the families and I pray GOD provides all of you strength and courage during your time of grief which sadly never goes away you just learn to live with the grief . Heaven is surely laughing now because the Angel of comedy arrived with that phenomenal personality. Rest In Peace Mark for you will never be forgotten and your spirit will always be with your family . Godspeed Sena Griggs

Growing up in Brookline (Egmont specifically where we lived) there were no such things as strangers. We were family. From the youngest to the oldest, age didn't matter. We looked after each other, played together and many future lives were joined together in marriage. Some were not successful and some were. Mark was lucky enough to marry his childhood sweetheart Cheryl . Together they raised a family. They were one of the lucky ones......as were all reached our "mature" adult years we never forgot our roots. Our lives, much like an intricate puzzle started to come apart. Sadly in the past years we've lost many peices of the puzzle. Mark was one of many little brothers. He was part of the "younger group" that was defined by 2 years. At the very minimum. God called our little brother home too soon. We mourn ...we cry...and sometimes laugh remembering little secrets or jokes we all shared with Mark. We lost another peice of the puzzle. You see, Mark wasn't an ordinary. Puzzle peice. He was a corner peice. The most important peice. How often in our life time will we ever, ever have the opportunity to miss someone as special as Mark was to his extended Brookline Family? My heart is heavy knowing that for the rest of my life I will not see his smile nor hear his laugh again. His joked? We'll remember the good ones and share them with others. The bad ones? Not so much. Rest well my friend. Your life will be celebrated with many generations of family. We salute you. Then, now and forever.
