Mary Ann Kaufman of Norwell passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015 at age 72. Born in Boston, she lived for 66 years at the Fernald State School and the past 18 months at Rolland House in Norwell. Despite her disabilities, Mary Ann lived a full and happy life surrounded by people who cared deeply for her. She was happiest with a deck of cards and a cup of coffee in her hands. She was the beloved daughter of the late Harry and Genevieve (McInnes) Kaufman; sister of the late Helen Peckham, Robert Kaufman, Harry Kaufman, Jr. and David Kaufman; beloved aunt of Loretta Zannis of Quincy, John Peckham, Paul Peckham and the late Laughlin “Sonny” Peckham; and is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visiting hour starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday, January 2 at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church 880 Trapelo Rd. Waltham. A Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 10:00 AM. Burial is at Mt. Benedict Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
