Mary C. (Ferris) Ralph of Quincy passed away on Sunday April 13, 2014 at the age of 90. She was born in South Boston where she was raised and educated and has lived in the Quincy area since 1977. Mary was a telephone operator for the Saint Anthony’s Shrine in Boston and a long time member of the Third Order of Saint Francis.  The beloved wife of 68 years of Joseph S. Ralph,  Mary was the loving mother of Elaine Deskins and her husband David,  Joseph P. Ralph, and Michael P. Ralph all of Quincy, Mary “Marie”  O’Neil and  her husband Fred, and Edward J. Ralph and his wife  Nell all of Weymouth, and the late Thomas J. Ralph; dear loving grandmother of Pamela Zanowski, Gregory Deskins, Susan Collett, Kristin McDonald,  Mark O’Neill,  Karen Kintz, Maureen O’Neill and the late David Deskins Jr. and the late Daniel Ralph;  great-grandmother of William, Meghan, Zachary, Kaitlyn,  Sarah , Brendan, and Claire. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 15 from 4:00 to  8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Wednesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at  9:00 AM followed by a  Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Saint Joseph Church 556 Washington Street, Quincy Point Burial is Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
