Obituaries

Mary K. (Moran) Sheehan of Quincy passed away at Quincy Medical Center on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at age 90. Born in Boston, she lived in Quincy most of her life. A graduate of Quincy High, class of 1936 and Regis College, class of 1940 with a degree in Sociology, she was employed for 13 years as Library Director at the Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing. The beloved wife of the late Francis E. Sheehan, Mary was the loving mother of Stephen Roomian and his wife Judy of Westminster, MA, Colleen Quinn of Quincy and Michael Roomian of Oak Island, NC; dear grandmother of Kathleen Quinn of Quincy and beloved sister of Martin A. Moran, Jr. and his wife Shirley of Barrington, RI and the late Margery Salvucci and Muriel Moran.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, August 26 at 1:00pm at Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Quincy. Those who wish may assemble at 12:30pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home parking lot 74 Elm St. Quincy Center and follow in procession to the cemetery.
