Obituaries

Mary M. (Doherty) Senier of Quincy passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at age 93. Born in Galway, Ireland where she was raised and educated, she lived in Dorchester for many years before moving to Quincy  in 1992. A talented chef, she worked in several Boston area restaurants before retiring. The beloved wife of the late Richard Senier, Mary was the loving mother of Teresa Molton and her husband Ron of VA, Brigid Senier of So. Boston, Kathy Fredey and her husband Ron of Pembroke and the late Mary Egan and Eileen “Anne” Burchfield; dear grandmother of Paul Egan, Jr., Christina Nagorniak, Dianna Egan, Carolyn Egan, Matthew Fredey, Michelle Burns, Emily Fredey, Richard Burchfield, Scott Burchfield and the late Lee Hayden; great-grandmother of Brendan, Christopher, Alliason, Liam, Collin, Michael, Mary, Lilah, Collin, Brileigh, Shaelynn, Sean, Brooke and Luke.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Wednesday, April 6 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Thursday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM follow by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church 550 Washington St. Quincy. Cremation will follow.
