Michael Anthony Ciccariello of Quincy passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at age 57. Born in NY where he was raised and educated, he had lived in Somerville before moving to Quincy 20 years ago. Michael worked for 16 years as a salesman in the plumbing showroom Splash in Newton and previously for Tile City. A history buff, he was a member of the Quincy Historical Society, enjoyed gardening and music and was an avid soccer fan.

The beloved husband of Mary R. (Alexopoulos) Ciccariello, Michael was the devoted father of Alexandra and John Ciccariello, both of Quincy, loving son of Priscilla (Johnson) Ciccariello of Sag Harbor, NY and the late Gerard Ciccariello, dear brother of Peter Ciccariello and his wife Sandra of CT, Thomas Ciccariello and his wife Kathy of Montauk, NY, Charles “Billy” Ciccariello and his wife Lloyd of Jamaica Plain, Daniel Ciccariello and his wife Mary Ann of Hull, John Ciccariello and his wife Tracy of East Hampton, NY and the late Stephen Ciccariello. He was the brother-in-law, of Helen Donovan of Braintree and Dorothy Jongens and her husband Gerwin of the Netherlands and is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his dogs Molly and Rocky.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, August 29 from 3:00 to 7:00pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00am, followed by a Funeral Service at the Quincy Community United Methodist Church 40 Beale St., Wollaston at 10:00am. Burial will be at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
