Michael J. Kenny, Jr. of Hull passed away after a yearlong battle with cancer with his family at his side on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at age 70. Born in Quincy where he was raised and educated, he lived on the South Shore all his life and settled in Hull 13 years ago. He and his wife Ann Marie owned and operated Josephine’s B & B in Hull for 10 years and spent their winters in St. Pete’s Beach, FL. The beloved son of the late Michael and Catherine Kenny, Sr., Mike was the loving husband of Ann Marie Kenny of Hull; devoted father of Christina Conte of Pasadena, CA; cherished brother of Clare Barrett and her husband Edward of Quincy, Sheila Giglio and her husband Harold of Hull and the late Frances Greer, Maureen Beaton and Catherine Marvelle; and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Friday, April 8 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Saturday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 8:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Church 208 Samoset Ave., Hull. Burial is at Hull Village Cemetery.
