Mildred C. (Skinner) Salo, 93,  of Quincy passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Whitney Place Assisted Living in Natick, her home for 8 years. She was born in Quincy where she was raised and educated and lived there until age 85. A salesperson at the Bargain Center for many years, she enjoyed square dancing, sunbathing at the beach, playing cards and bingo, and loved all animals, especially her cats, Muffin, Mona, Scruffy and Ziggy. The beloved wife of the late Reino J. Salo, Mildred was the loving mother of Carol Salo and her husband Gerald Shusterman of Natick. She will be missed by her dear friends at Whitney Place.

At her family’s request, services are private.
