Myron J. Gale of Quincy passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011 at age 71. Born in Somerville where he was raised and educated, he lived in Quincy for 51 years and was the retired owner and president of Gale Provisions of Quincy which he founded in 1984.
The beloved husband of Barbara A. (Brogioli) Gale, Myron was the loving father of Gregory J. Gale of Quincy, Donna M. Gale and her partner, Harry Waters, Sr. of Milford, Linda M. Miller and her husband, Joseph Miller of Ft. Myers, FL, and Jean M. Ptaszynski of Rockland; dear grandfather of Felicia, Samantha and Paula; great-grandfather of Bianca and Shawn; brother of Harry Gale of NH, Frank Gale of CA, Harvey Gale of FL, Stephen Gale of CA, Donald Gale of Easton, Ethel DeMango of Stoneham, Patricia Sherman of Quincy, Norma Arena of Medford and the late Russell Gale; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A visiting hour will be held on Tuesday, December 13 starting at 10:00AM, with a Funeral Service immediately following at 11:00AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. Cremation will follow.
