Obituaries

Pamela J. Grubb of Quincy died at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, March 22, 2013 at age 46. A lifelong Quincy resident, she graduated from North Quincy High and UMass Boston where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Education. Well-loved for her uplifting spirit, Pamela devoted herself to teaching, starting as a substitute and most currently at Sacred Heart School in North Quincy where she taught first and third grade, as well as CCD.

The loving daughter of Catherine (McCann) Grubb of Quincy and the late Robert Grubb, Pamela was the beloved sister of Janice K. Crowell of Weymouth, Deborah A. Lavalley of Pembroke, Linda S. Grubb, Robert T. Grubb and Steven M. Grubb, all of Quincy; and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved dog Sebastian.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 26 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Wednesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church 386 Hancock St. No. Quincy. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Quincy.
