Obituaries

Patricia A. Crowley of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at age 85. Beloved daughter of the late Capt. James J. Crowley, BPD Ret. and the late Anna M. (Farrell) Crowley, she was the dear sister of the late Rita M. Crowley; loving cousin of Eleanor DeMartino of Boston; dear friend of Louise Podloske of FL and Roberta Kinsella of Scituate; and is also survived by 14 loving second cousins. Pat worked as a bookkeeper/office manager for 58 years, first at Tredwell Shoe Corp. of Boston and then at Helin’s Auto Cooling/A-1 Auto Sales in Quincy and Weymouth. She traveled extensively to Ireland, Europe, Egypt, China, Tokyo and Hong Kong. In her later years she took cruises to the Caribbean, Alaska, Hawaii, and in the fall cruises from Boston to the Maritimes and Canada.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Wednesday, May 11 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Thursday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church 386 Hancock St. No. Quincy. Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
