Philip M. Gaudiano passed away on July 22, 2014, after a lengthy illness. The oldest of six children, he graduated from Quincy High School in 1945, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving for 3 years as a payroll officer on a destroyer. This experience led him to pursue a career in accounting. He graduated magna cum laude from Boston University in 1952, earned his C.P.A. in 1956, and Masters from Babson College.

In 1952 he married Evelyn (Rogers) Gaudiano of Provincetown, and they had four children: Joseph, Mary, Phyllis, and John. He worked as an accountant and manager of accounting firms in Boston, including Tofias, Fleishman, Shapiro; Peat, Marwick, and Mitchell; and Mullen and Company, as he and Evelyn raised their children in both Quincy and Provincetown. After retiring in 1993 they moved to Provincetown, where he was involved with the Lions, and served on the Finance Committee, though his happiest times were spent at the Highland Links in North Truro.

He is survived by his wife Evelyn, by their children and children-in-law: Joseph Gaudiano of Woodbridge, Virginia; Margaret Gaudiano of Fairfax, Virginia; Mary and Thomas Madigan of Wyckoff, New Jersey; Phyllis and Robert Allison of South Boston; John Gaudiano of Sarasota, Florida; 14 grandchildren (two predeceased him), ten great-grandchildren; by his brothers and sisters: Genevieve and Larry Constas, Sandra Gaudiano, Gerard and Irene Gaudiano, Mary and Paul Gosselin; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
