Phyllis H. (Raymondi) DelVecchio of Quincy passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at age 96. A homemaker, she was a lifelong Quincy resident and a member of the Sons of Italy. The beloved wife of the late Philip F. DelVecchio, Phyllis was the loving mother of Carol A. Carnes of Quincy and Richard P. DelVecchio and his wife Gwen, also of Quincy; dear grandmother of Kenneth S. DelVecchio and his wife Varnell and Cheryl A. Oatway and her husband Jon; great-grandmother of Cole and Phillip; beloved sister of Ann Bowlby of Quincy; and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 15 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Saturday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Joseph’s Church 550 Washington St. Quincy. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
