Raymond John James Kelly passed away at his home in Dorchester on April 11, 2011, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 52. Born in Hereford, England where he was raised and educated; he has lived in the Dorchester area for the past 9 years. Raymond worked as an engineer for Atlas Copco.

The beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betsy” (DeVita) Kelly. He is the loving father of Neil and Adam Kelly both of Hereford, England, James Carey Jr. of Londonderry, NH, Sean Carey of Boston and Ryan Carey of Dorchester. He is also survived by his step mother Anne Kelly of Wales, his Aunt Edna Riches of Herford, England, six brothers and sisters; Gordon, David, Philip, Helen, Jonathan Kelly all of Hereford, England and Anne Joseph of Chorley, Lancashire. He is the loving grandfather of Michael, Gianna, Liam, Leon, Lexie, and Alfie; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday April 13, from 4:00 to 8:00pm in the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center. Family and Friends are invited to attend. On Thursday there will be a gathering in the funeral home at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am at Christ Church Episcopal, Quincy.
