Robert A. Abbott, age 38, of Quincy passed away at Tuts Medical Center on Sunday, January 15, 2012. Born in Boston where he was raised and educated, he lived in Quincy for many years and worked as a repo man for New England Associates, Inc. of Bridgewater.
The beloved husband of Antonia “Tanha” (Goncalves) Abbott, Bob was the loving father of Anthony Abbott, Zeliza Lobes Abbott and Ronira Goncalves Abbott, all of Quincy, beloved son of Robert and Mary Ann (Paulicelli) Abbott of Quincy; dear brother of Mary Ann Abbott and Tina Marie Abbott of Quincy and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 23 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Tuesday a Funeral Service at 10:00AM at the Funeral Home. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.
