I will always remember him as Mr McBride. If you where a point kid growing up in the 60’s and 70’s he was one of the Dads that not only adored his children, but cared about the kids from the neighborhood, always a wave a how you doing, a smile. If you were around then you know what I mean. RIP Mr. McBride

Maureen & entire McBride family, Bob, like my parents were OFD, specifically Savin Hill. A great many friendships made and kept. Bob as well as my parents were constant figures at Archbishop Williams. The school would not have survived without those big Irish families! Never easy to say so long, for now. You are all in my prayers. May your faith in God ease your pain and one day soon your memories bring you comfort and happiness. God Bless.

Love the picture and obituary of Mr McBride. A man my mom , dad and brothers, respected and loved. We always enjoyed running into him at mass or around Quincy. Admired him for his strong faith and the Example he set for others. A great boss and friend of my In-Laws Cathy and Bill Ronan. Bill would always say “ Jimmy , you could not find a better boss than Bob McBride”. My brothers and I sometimes jokingly wondered if it was his “Irish Twinkle” or if he was questioning our sanity while talking with him. He left this world a better place. God bless him and all that loved him. Respectfully The Jaehnig Family

I will miss Bob, he was a humble man who truly loved God, his family, his friends, his parish, and strangers. I pray he is now at peace with Eleanor, his eternal bride. I also pray for his family whom he loved so much, may their faith make them stronger!
