Robert W. Hunsinger of Weymouth passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at age 71. Born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Boston and Norwood. As a commercial baker he worked for Kasanof Bakery and Liberty Bakery. Bob enjoyed boating and was a member of Quincy Yacht Club.
The loving husband of Marie L. (Harvey) Hunsinger, he was the loving father of Robert A. Hunsinger, William J. Hunsinger and Matthew D. Hunsinger, all of Weymouth, Jennifer L. Jackunas and her husband Matthew of Plymouth and Risa M. Coleran and her husband Sean of Pembroke; dear Papa of Cameron and Kyle Hunsinger and Lena Jackunas; and is also survived by his brother Richard Hunsinger and 3 nieces.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Thursday, June 15 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. On Friday there will be a gathering at the funeral home At 9:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM at Immaculate Conception Church 1203 Commercial St. E. Weymouth. Burial is at Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
