Roberta “Dee Dee” Sylva of Weymouth passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 14, 2014 at age 65. Born in Quincy where she was raised and educated, she worked as a telephone operator for Verizon before retiring. The daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Taylor) Sylva, Dee Dee was the loving sister of Mary Keane, Donna Wilkie, Meredith Power, Robert Sylva, Edward Sylva, Stephen Sylva, John Sylva and the late Charles Sylva; loving aunt of the late Kevin Keane, Jr.; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her special friends, Barry and Regina Shangold.

Services have been held.
