Ronald N. “Ron” Vitti of Hanson passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013 at age 68. Raised and educated in Quincy, he was a Vietnam Veteran US Army. The Service Dept. Director for Janell Ford in Hanover for 16 years, Ron also ran his antique shop Out of the Woods for 30 years. He liked to stay active as a surfer, racket ball player and cyclist who took part in the Pan Mass Challenge.

The beloved husband of Joanne L. (May) Vitti, Ron was the loving father of Jennifer Vitti of Hanson and Matthew L. Vitti of Quincy; brother of the late Lois Craig; uncle of Colleen McLaughlin, Karen DeCoste, Stephanie Kinzel and many other nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Thursday you are invited to meet at 10:00AM at St. Joseph the Worker Church 1 Maquan St, Hanson for a Funeral Mass. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
