Rosalie J. (Mazzarella) Curran age 78, of North Quincy passed away peacefully,after a long illness on Wednesday Jan 11, 2012 at Duxbury House. Born in Boston, she has lived in Quincy for many years. Rosalie was a longtime employee of Children’s Hospital, Boston where she worked as a medical secretary.

The beloved wife of the late Thomas Curran, she was the devoted mother of Thomas Curran of Halifax and the Grandmother of Thomas &Taylor Curran.. Loving sister of Joseph Mazzarella of Quincy and the late Marshall Mazzarella, Angela Cannell and John Mazzarella. Rosalie was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 16 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Tuesday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy. Burial is in Pine Hill Cemetery.
