Rose Marie (Pollara) Russo of Quincy passed away at Quincy Medical Center on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at age 87. A homemaker, she was born in Quincy and lived here all her life, most recently as a resident of 1000 Southern Artery. The beloved wife of the late Salvatore Russo, she is survived by her children, Cindy R. Grondin of Holbrook and Michael Russo of Pawtucket, RI, her sister Marie Borrello of San Diego, CA, her grandchildren Brian, Lynn, Siobhan, and Tom and her great grandchildren Christopher, Jessica, Cole and Mackenzie Rose.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church on Monday, January 4 at 10:00am. Family and friends are invited. Burial is at Mount Wollaston Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose Marie’s memory to the Memorial Fund 1000 Southern Artery, Quincy MA 02169
