Salva P. (Alfano) Swan of Quincy passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the age of 95. Born in Quincy where she was raised and educated, she lived in West Quincy all her life. Salva was a retired waitress and had worked for many years for the former Sherry’s on Southern Artery in Quincy.
The beloved wife of the late James A. Swan, Salva was the loving mother of John J. Swan and his wife Linda of Brewster, James A. Swan and his wife Mary of Sandwich, and Peter N. Swan and his wife Adrianna of Plymouth; dear grandmother of Adam, Jason, Zackery, Alexandra, Maribeth, Jeffery, and the late James A. Jr. and great grandmother to seven great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday April 11, at 10am in Saint Mary’s Church, 115 Crescent Street West Quincy. Family and friends are invited to attend, visiting hours are omitted and arrangements under the direction of the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center.
