Stephen Cheng of Boston passed away on February 22nd, at the age of 55.

Survived by his father, Yuan Fu Cheng, and his mother, Pui Ngor Yee of West Roxbury; His brother Shao-fei Cheng and his sister Sophia Kuen Cheng of Quincy.

Stephen was born December 5 1967 in the Canton province of China. He emigrated to the United States in 1984 with his family. He attended Brookline High School and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. In the past two years, he began to pursue his dreams of matriculating with a PhD in Finance, applying to several programs. This past fall, he was accepted as a Master’s candidate for Finance at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

His family is comforted knowing he lived his life on his terms and he is now at peace.

Family and friends are invited to a service on Friday, March 3rd at 1:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center.
