Stephen James Doherty of Worcester passed away on July 29, 2012 after a lengthy illness. There will be a graveside service at 11am, Monday August 6th, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, (gather at the Hall Place entrance), Quincy, MA.
Born in Quincy, March 31, 1955, Stephen was the son of George and Constance (Daly) Doherty. Stephen was a graduate of Boston College High School, and a veteran of the US Air Force. Stephen leaves behind his children, Jennifer and Sean Barry of Brockton, Janean and Andrew Sullivan of Andover, Keith Doherty of Quincy, Paul Doherty of Lynn and three grandchildren, Alyssa and Samantha Barry and Nora Sullivan. He also is survived by Diane (Lynskey) Doherty of Weymouth, a brother and sister-in-law John and Judith Doherty of Beverly, a brother and sister-in-law James and Sue Doherty of Stoughton and three nieces, Caroline, Michelle and Jillian Doherty and a nephew, Brendon Walsh. He was pre-deceased by his brother Michael Doherty.
