Obituaries

Theresa A. Brooks of Quincy, formerly of Mission Hill, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at age 89. A graduate of Mission High School, she worked as payroll manager for the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston for many years. The daughter of the late William and Mary (Griffin) Brooks, Theresa was the loving sister of Jeanne Weigel of Silver Springs, MD, Pauline Freeley and her husband Edward of Roslindale, Janet Leonard and her husband John of Weymouth and the late Mary Riley, Lillian O’Connell, William F. Brooks, Catherine Campana, Marguerite Casey, Thomas Brooks, Helen Cook, and Robert C. Brooks; and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 16 from 2:00 to 6:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 44 School St. Quincy. Burial is at New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan.
