Obituaries

Thomas A. Pardy of Milton passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at age 79. A lifelong Milton resident, he earned an Associate’s Degree in Engineering from Northeastern University. After serving in the Navy Tom founded the Quincy Electronics Co. where he worked as a Marine Electronics Specialist up until the day he died. For more than 50 years he traveled the world providing Nautical expertise for Navy, merchant marine and commercial vessels. Toms immense Knowledge was sought after by shipyards all over New England and along the east coast. A longtime Mason, he was a member of Macedonian Lodge which awarded him the Joseph Warren Medal and a 50 Year Veteran medal. Tom was the son of the late Alfred and Florence (Sementore) Pardy and is survived by many close friends, both human and furry four-legged.

Friends are invited to a Masonic Service which will be held on Friday, January 12th at 10:00AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery.
