Thomas J. Necktas of Quincy passed away on Saturday March 12, 2016 at age 90. Born in Boston where he was raised and educated, he served as an Assistant Clerk Magistrate in the Boston Municipal Court for 28 years before retiring in 1990. The son of the late James and Adele Necktas, he was the brother of the late Catherine MacNeil, Jenette White, Alice Owens, Rosa P. Necktas, Edna Necktas and Edward Necktas; uncle of Jenette Roberge of IL, Carol Bradbury of Quincy, Charlotte Melander of Braintree, Robert MacNeil of Randolph and the late Mary Sawisky, Janet Collins and Josette Verrochi.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours which will be held on Wednesday, March 16 from 9:00 to 10:30AM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00AM at St. John the Baptist Church 44 School St. Quincy. Burial is at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
